Other Comments: Spawned on java moss over a peat bottom in 16`x8`x8`tank. Rainwater giving PH 5.5-6.5 & very low hardness.Temp around 70f.Mature pair gave between 18-36 eggs per week. Eggs which were quite large were water incubated.Newly hatched brine shrimp taken readily & no problem in raising fry.Growth reasonably slow.Also slight bias in favour of females.
