Location code: Narubungo TAN 02-24 | | Water conditions: Neutral | Water temperature: 24-27oC | | Disposition: Active, but not aggresive | Community tank?: Doubtful, only with VERY calm fish | | Spawning Method: Peat (or similar) spawning substrate | Breeding problems: Poor egg production | | Sex ratio: Roughly equal | Breeding difficulty: Average | | Sucess: Fairly unsucessful | Years Experience: | | Other Comments: A lovely blue fish with pleasing disposition. I wouldn't really say that poor egg production is a problem (16-20 eggs/week/female) as the eggs are hardy and don't realy want 100s of baby nothos to feed... This fish can be long lived (18 months) if well cared for.
