Sexation is very difficult until fish reach a large mature age. Fry appear in the dense plant cover of water sprite and Java Moss.Maintain shallow <4inches. Fish are sensative to pollution and become sluggish and drab if frequent water changes are not carried out. Cool water changes induce striking vigor in these fish and presumably spawning activity.
