Spawning Method: Spawning MopsBreeding problems:
Poor egg production
Sex ratio: Roughly equalBreeding difficulty: Average
Sucess: Very sucessfulYears Experience:
Other Comments: Easy to raise. Very fast growers. No canibalism noted. Not overly agressive. About 4" to 4 1/2" at maturity. Very few eggs are laid, about 2 - 6 per day. Almost all eggs were good, lost very few to fungus. I use about 5 floating mops and 2 bottom mops in a 10 gal. tank. All the eggs were found in the floating mops.
