Other Comments: These have been bred in a 6 gal eclipse (with an undergravel filter in addition to the regular filter - biowheel filter included with set up. I have kept them in a "natural" set up with a full tank of Java Moss and have seen the eggs bring lair at the top of the tank where the Java Moss was orig attached to small suction cups. The water should be slightly acid to neutral with NO heating. They will eat just about anything you feed them..but.. to condition use live blackworms. Groth rate is moderate at best but the larger fry will predate on newly hatched fry. I have found these fish to be very non agressive with one another.I have never seen any aggession by the male _ever_. They remind me of bettas they the just "hang around" frequently in vertical positions. I was not trying to get many fry only a couple of doz. pair for distribution and for future generations.
