Other Comments: This fish is easy to breed yet I have lost it on two occastions. The fish isn't so easy that you just have to sit back and relax. They need some work. The eggs eye up in less than 3 months and don't last very long in the peat. Other than that there are no problems. The fry grow very fast. They are sensitive to over crowding and bacterial infections. They will eat anything including flake food. I like keeping them in a well lit tank.
