Location code: Aquarium strain | | Water conditions: Moderately soft and acidic | Water temperature: 20-23oC | | Disposition: Active, but not aggresive | Community tank?: Only with species of similar size | | Spawning Method: Spawning Mops | Breeding problems: none | | Sex ratio: Roughly equal | Breeding difficulty: Easy | | Sucess: Very sucessful | Years Experience: 4 | | Other Comments: This is a beautiful and easy Killifish that doesn't have any bad qualities, if normal aquarium maintenance is used. They seem to relish grindal worms (which I raise in great quantity on top of peat and feed inexpensive cat food)and brine shrimp nauplii. Egg production is medium , but steady. They color up and are sexable in about 4 months. Dim light makes them comfortable and they show well under these conditions. | | Date this record created: 25th December 2003 | Breeding date: 23rd December 2003 | | Breeder: Darrell | Location: US |
