Location code:
LEC 93/7
Water conditions: Very soft and acidic Water temperature: 16-19oC
Disposition: Somewhat aggresive on occasions Community tank?: Never
Spawning Method: Adult fish removed from tankBreeding problems:
Skewed sex ratio
Sex ratio: Somewhat male heavyBreeding difficulty: Difficult
Sucess: Fairly sucessfulYears Experience: 8
Other Comments: I use rainwater cut with tapwater: 75% rainwater. The tanks are dimly lit with oakleaves and peatmoss as a substrate. Anubias nana grows from a small amount of sunlight and light from adjacent tanks. Sometimes I scoop fry, put into container with tank water. I then add the 75% rainwater every couple days until the top of the container is reached. I only add water after they have eaten for a week.
