Deformities | | Sex ratio: Somewhat female heavy | Breeding difficulty: Average | | Sucess: Average | Years Experience: 9 | | Other Comments: The method that worked best for me was shoal spawning in a largish but fairly shallow tank. 600x300x200 deep. This was kept well planted with Java Moss and Java Fern, a few floating plants for cover and a few mops thrown in as well. There were usually a reasonable number of eggs in the mops. I did find that the growth rate of the fry that survived the depredations of the adults in the main tank was always greater than that of those removed, although whether this is an indictment of my fry feeding abilities remains open to question.
