Favourite food is pinhead crickets or fruitflies. 7 month incubation at 24C, 5 months at 27C. Higher temps may produce more females. Mine were in straight rainwater. Large tank a neccesity. Suggest 100L. Adult fish can cross this tank in one stroke! Fish can jump 20cm straight up. Suggest 27C water if you can feed 2 times daily, otherwise 24C. Best egg production at 27C. Finca population is more colourful, but harder to breed than Apure location.
