One of the biggest restrictions of breeding is egg cannabalism. Frequent feedings are required. Breed in bottom mops check for eggs often. A shallow >2inches is best Dh >5 ph 6.5 cool water. Water quality is extremely important for consistant production. Wil eat anything alive that fits in its large mouth. Young 1 cm Rosy minnows were relished as were small dragon fly larva.
