Other Comments: I breed them in a three foot tank with 1 inch of boiled irish moss peat on the bottom,, to keep the water soft (i use only rain water) I feed them on blood worm and mosquito larva and daphnia from my water buts,i cover the top of the tank with a black bin liner to cut down the light a bit. I have not seen any canibalism to the young, growth in the young is very fast,I put four spawning mops in at the same time the young take aprox 10/15 days to hatch i feed them on micro worms for a start and then brine srimp
