A spectacularly coloured notho that has been kept by aquarists for years. It is often overlooked as a beginners notho, which is a shame, as it is clearly one of the best looking

Visually rather similar to Nothobranchius guentheri, however lacks the red cheek dot. Photographs do not do this fish justice

Like all Nothobranchius species a diet of livefoods is preferred
