Breeding Report: Rivulus montium
Water conditions: Moderately hard and alkaline
Spawning Method: Spawning Mops
Sex ratio: Roughly equal
Breeding difficulty: Average
Success: Very unsuccessful
Other Comments: I have been very successful with these in dechlor St Louis tap water. Left alone with half a tank of mops & an air stone. Water changes weekly, all of it. Fed mostly newly hatched BBS some Black worms every few days. Parents leave most eggs to hatch and fry do well on BBS in the cover of some Java moss and mops. 2.5 gallon tank produced about 50 fry in 3 months.
