Other Comments: Bought pair at Manchester auction in Nov 02.Placed in their own 16x12x8 inch tank with peat bottom & java moss at approx 76f. Rain water on peat giving minimal hardness and PH reducing from 7.0 down to about 6.0. Fed on frozen blood worms & frozen brineshrimp.First eggs seen on 1/12 [11] & again 11 on 8/12.These eggs then water incubated & hatched within 20days.Fry will eat newly hatched brine shrimp & growth to date is quite rapid.Parent fish moved [8/12] to a more permanent 18x10x10 tank with same conditions for "long term" breeding.
